The Globalss-Z124 Combo Tester is a comprehensive ESD protection device designed to ensure the safety and effectiveness of wrist straps and ESD footwear. This model (Z-124) uses a 9V battery to power its digital display, which provides precise and readable readings. The tester is crucial because it tests footwear and wrist straps in real-time operating conditions, protecting the human body’s first line of defense against electrostatic charge accumulation. The wrist strap pass range is from 0.75 to 10.0 meg ohms, while the footwear pass range is between 0.75 and 35 meg ohms, with an accuracy of ±10%. The device alerts the user if the footwear is defective by testing one foot at a time. The Globalss-Z124 Combo Tester also integrates with a door access system, allowing entry into an ESD Protected Area (EPA) only if the wrist strap and footwear resistance values are within the acceptable pass limits. The device is made in India and comes with a 12-month warranty. The price is reduced if the instruction board is not required.
